Born during the bleakest months of the year in Berlin, Ornis was inspired by the musical moments shared by Aude (vocals) and Amy (violin). Swiftly joined by producer Louis McGuire, a new depth developed within the tracks, and his energetic dark beats on drums complete their live show. The acclaimed Mitte based designer Nico Sutor was seduced by the intertwining darkness and light in their sound and created elegant stage costumes to fit. As the project continues to evolve, delicate yet strong, Ornis released their debut EP 'Awakening' in June 2012 and are currently working on producing their first full-length album.
