Last Weekend the Berlin Festival took place with a lineup of over 100 performing acts playing at 2 venues; the nightly location Club XBerg situated at the river Spree including Arena, Badeschiff and Glasshaus stages and the Berlin Festival site situated at the city’s astonishing inoperative Tempelhof Airport. The Berlin Festival is set to be at one of the most monumental locations you can possibly imagine. Although the Tempelhof Airport began working in the late 1920s, the buildings were only completed in 1941.They form an over a kilometer long single block, wrapped around an open quadrangle where the hangars face the huge open field of the Tempelhofer Flugfeld. Some of you checked out the festival, talked to bands like Who Made Who, Friends, Metronomy, The Killers and danced with Modeselektor.
